How To Avoid Make Money Online Scams

For a newbie it’s very easy to get into an make money online scam and lose money.Internet home business is a very big industry. So,there are no dearth of the scam stars.Internet is flooded with ‘get rich quick’ schemes, where you’re promised to earn thousands of dollars doing easy jobs working 2-3 hours a day from home computer.Well, theoretically it’s possible to earn thousands of dollar working very little. But, you must remember to make money online as it is the case with any other platform you need to invest either time or money or both. There is no other short cut of this.If someone is trying to convince you that you can earn money without any of these, then,he is trying to scam you for sure.

Obviously, there are no easy ways to tell whether a program is a scam or not. But,few things must be remembered-

Do Not Need to Pay Money to Earn Money:

You don’t need to pay any money to join an online business, say, an affiliate program or an advertising network for monetizing your website traffic. You are not needed to pay any money to get a freelance assignments, like, data entry, content writing, designing.

But,there are some programs where you need to pay to join and not necessarily they are scams.

WHERE YOU NEED TO PAY-

  1. You want to learn how to make money online blogging or how to make money using AdSense or you want to learn the secrets of a successful affiliate marketer. There are successful people out there who wants to teach you all these things for a fee.Certainly, they are not scamming you, they are just charging a fee for the service they are giving to you. Now, how you use those information supplied by them it’s completely up to you.If you’re a quick learner, then you may make the most out of these courses.
  2. You need to pay a fee,in most cases a monthly fee,to join a Multi Level Marketing program.Recruitment of the new paid members is the basic idea of these programs.
  3. If you want to get some exclusive information from someone regarding a subject that you don’t know much.Say, if you want to use Public Domain information to earn money you need to buy Public Domain Treasure.

Go to the Leaders to Learn:

Always go to the leaders, who has done it themselves, to learn things.Say, if you want to learn blogging go to the people like Yaro Starack or  Rob who are the most successful in the business of blogging.Certainly, you don’t want to sign up with a program whose authors has no proven successful track record.

Research,Research and More Research:

If you’ve just learned about a make money online program, don’t join that immediately.Just do your bit of research.See what others are saying about the program.Read few reviews of that program. And then decide. This way you’ll always take informed decision. The best way to find information about these programs are make money online blogs and home business forums. You may ask your online friends for advice.Remember,if a program has given good result to your friend that doesn’t mean it’ll give same level of good result to you.

Scam Jobs:

Most of the data entry, email sending, copy pasting jobs are scams. In fact, honestly ,I have not seen any genuine data entry or email sending jobs. The only way you can get genuine data entry jobs is through freelance job sites.

Sure Scam:

Someone, who is trying teach you how to get 20,000 Twitter followers in 30 days and don’t even have1,000 followers, you know he is a scam star.

Are They Real?

Make sure the program authors have clearly mentioned their physical address. All the genuine programs list their address, contact information and possible phone number in their website. You can contact them to get more details regarding the program. But, that may not help in the most cases.

Find if they have enough online presence in the social media sites.Generally, a successful online business person has very good presence in the social media sites.

Fake AdSense Account Screenshots:

Fake AdSense ScreenShot

Do you know that there is a tool that can generate fake AdSense screenshots like the one above.Check it out!

So,when next time you see an AdSense account screenshot of $500 earnings a day  in a sales page, don’t just believe that easily.

Most of the Clickbank screenshots you see in these sales pages are fake as well.

Affiliate Junction and Affiliano:

Both these programs are closed. But,there may be similar programs still running. These programs promise you to give a free website, and you can make money referring customers to them.If you start signing up with them, you’ll be redirected to a webhost for a webhosting account, saying that you need a webhost to host your FREE WEBSITE.Now,they won’t let you host the FREE WEBSITE with a webhost of your choice. You’ll have to host it with their recommended host.To tell you the truth, they are actually selling webhosting packages in an innovative way as an affiliate. When you buy a hosting account to host your FREE SITE they get affiliate commission. The worst part is that if you join their affiliate program and refer customers, they pay you very less money.Where as, if you join the original Webhost as an affiliate you can earn more.

They may not be scams in the strict sense, but they are not the programs worth joining.

Not Everything is a Scam:

There are people who believe online money making opportunities are all scam.Just join Yahoo Answers and read few of the replies by those so called ‘top contributors’ and they will try their best to make you believe this. Many people believe Google AdSense and affiliate programs are all scam.Just do a Google search with the keyword ‘AdSense Scam’ and you’ll find so many complaints. But,you know most these complaints are out of sheer anger for got banned by AdSense. There are many genuine programs that you can join.Just be careful before joining and you’ll never be in trouble.

I sincerely hope this page will help you in future to take informed decision before joining any make money online program.
